Session 9 | Luke 19 & 20
Jesus weeps over Jerusalem, knowing that people have turned away from God and their actions are not living up to what they are saying. People since the Prophets in the Old Testament have been trying to tell people that God is the true authority in the world and the best way is to follow him but there will be a day of judgement to come for those who have heard the message and turned away.
- Why do you think people ignored warnings from God through the prophets in the Old Testament and why do people turn away from God nowadays who hear the message?
- What do you think Jesus weeps over today as he wept over Jerusalem?
- What do you think about the judgement of God? We often talk about the love of God but rarely mention the judgement of God?
- Do you give Jesus authority over all parts of your life? Which parts do you hold onto and why?
- How would people in your life, in your workplace, or within your friends and family know that you serve and follow Jesus?
